Playwright-Nicholas Vasilios Pappas

Nicholas Vasilios Pappas is an actor, director, and playwright who has been living and working in NYC for about a year. In March, the Barrington Collective included his play Roulette in their Just Our Luck night of readings. He was a member of the company for Spicy Witch Production's 2017 repertory season which included the world premiere of Kristin Slaney's Could This Meeting Have Been an Email?, and he was recently seen as Bassianus and Lucius in the Puppet Shakespeare Player's production of Puppet Titus Andronicus. He will be serving as associate director and assistant stage manager on The Rafa Play by Peter Gil-Sheridan as part of The Pool, a pop-up theatre company. Director- Melissa Flower

Melissa Flower currently works as a freelance director, collaborator, performance artist, and dramaturg in New York and Houston.   She currently works as at teaching artist at D.R.E.A.M. in the Bronx, NY.  She is the Director of Communications at Luciole International Theatre Company and sits on the board of Wordsmyth Theatre.  She runs a training group that spans both Houston and NYC called Basic 6.  Her directing credits include: Cassandra at Mildred’s Umbrella, A Doll’s House at Classical Theatre Company (assistant director), Ghost Sonata (assistant director) Big Love at Theatre B in Fargo, Roadside, Milo and Barbara, Caleb,  and Vigils.  She has also served as assistant director at Classical Theatre Company for A Doll’s House, Ghost Sonata and Mrs. Warren’s Profession as well as The Vibrator Play at Stages Repertory Theatre, and Hot L Baltimore at UH. Her performance/devising credits include Here Now at the Martha Graham Studios in New York, Things Missing/Missed and Hypocrite at Obsidian Theatre. Her performance art credits include: Pangea, John Cages’s Lunch and Dinner, Black Hole, and My Blog with Some Google Searches.  Her other dramaturgical credits include: Hamlet, and Comedy of Errors at the Houston Shakespeare Festival. Melissa is an alumnus if the SITI Conservatory 2015 and has trained with Tadashi Suzuki and the SCOT Company in Toga, Japan. She also studied with Double Edge Theatre in Ashfield, MA. She holds a BFA from Baylor University and an MA in Dramaturgy from the University of Houston.

Shelby - Jenny King

Jenny King is an actor, singer, writer, and proud sixth-generation Texan. In addition to being a founding member of BarCo, she also works as the assistant literary manager at The Barrow Group. She fills her NYC days with auditioning, writing, running after children (she's a nanny so it's ok) and running after cats (she's also a cat sitter, so still ok). Kristen - JoJo Ginn

JoJo Ginn is a Canadian-born American actressraised in Ohio. She graduated from Ohio Northern University with a BFA in Musical Theatre after realizing she wanted to pursue theatre professionally- instead of becoming a lawyer. She has never regretted this decision. She graduated with her MFA in Acting from East 15 School of Acting where she was blessed enough to perform on The Globe stage and learn from some of the most generous and inspiring teachers and peers. Isaac (Adam) is a writer and actor. Friend of Underling Productions (Autolycus in Winter's Tale, Ant of Eph in Comedy of Errors), frequent collaborator with Hamlet Isn't Dead (The Bastard in King John, Hotspur in Henry IV), and actor who does things with Duende Group (Satan in Last Days of Judas Escariot), Isaac is happy to premier this hilarious piece with Barrington Collective!
